Spend Some Time with us on Wednesdays @ our library

1st & 3rd Wednesdays – The Readers' Community Book Discussion Group — A community of readers who come together twice a month to discuss books. If you like the idea of discussing books you have just read or just want to learn more about a book before you read it, this is the place to be every 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month. 2nd Wednesdays – Inspirational 2nd Wednesdays — We review and discuss thought-provoking books from leading authors who are guides to change, growth and self-acceptance. This is an opportunity for readers to reflect and enjoy the opportunity of discussing books that can help change our world for the better. 4th & 5th Wednesdays – Local Authors & Artists — Most 4th and 5th Wednesdays we host a local author or artist who share their talents with us through readings, conversations, special presentations, demonstrations, and/or workshops. The programs above are all FREE, open to everyone and sponsored by the Morro Bay Friends of the Library. Book Sales

The rain came out in force during the morning hours but that didn't keep everyone away. We were forced to set everything up in the program room including the books we normally sell outside on the patio. The Library Staff was gracious and let us move furniture around and use the lobby of the library to help make up the difference.

Even with the foul weather, we were still able to raise $3,001.33 to help support our library.

Again an amazing thanks to all our volunteers that came out to work on this winter day. Special thanks to all those that did the extra work for set-up and tear-down dealing with all of the extra furniture moving.
